Basics
→ No Godmodding. This is when you control someone else's character without their permission. Ask first, they'll probably be down with it.
→ No drama please. If you have problems, please take it up with a mod first, regardless.
→ No yaoi or yuri is allowed unless it is canon. Nothing against it, we just ask to keep the story and its characters as close to canon as possible.
→ Try to post at least once every two weeks. If you need to take a hiatus, please inform the mods either personally or put a notice up in the OOC community.
→ Your ideas are welcome, so please pitch them in the OOC Comm, or personally to the Mods via email or over messenger. Also, make sure you put, "Fithos Lusec Vinosec" in the subject line of your application so we know you've read the rules.
→ There is currently a limit starting at 12. Each month you will be allowed to take two more characters if you are active, and there is no overall cap on how many you may take as long as you are active. There are some characters that we know will not be as active as others, and we will take that into account.
→ No original characters are allowed.
→ Only one incarnation of each character may exist.
→ You must have your character for over a month before you can drop them, and if you do wish to drop them - please give a substantial reason as to why. Each person can only drop one character a month.
→ Deceased and NPCs are not applicable characters.
Played-Bys
→ PBs are not required. They are only present in the event you cannot find proper pictures of your character should they come from an obscure fandom. They are optional.
→ You can use a live action version of the character if you'd prefer those images instead.
→ We do not keep track of the PBs, because some actresses and actors have played multiple roles. So, don't be alarmed if a PB you're using is already in use.
Gameplay
→ Icons do not represent your character. They're just there for OOC purposes, really.
→ All character journal posts will be made in the main community. Logs/threads will be posted in the logs community and labeled with warnings if they can be considered over an R. Please also state Who/What/Where/When, too! Feel free to make open threads, but make sure all posts below the according headings are placed under a cut tag.
→ You can pick whatever point in the character's canon storyline to draw them from, it's entirely up to you. Mix it up! Throw other characters off. Have fun. NOTE: FFVIII characters come post the ending of the game and post-the original end of Exuro Fatum on GJ.
Grandfathering Rule
→ This RP will be unique in that it allows you to bring in characters from former RPs that you've already developed their back story/interactions, etc. This is only if they come from an already canon background (and comply with the rules, of course) and there can't be duplicates of the characters since they're coming from their original storyline at whatever point you chose. So, if one of your characters was in some sort of AU setting where they were drawn from their own world and that RP died, you can bring them here with all the development you had there, make sense? Just make sure to include this background in their application.
